Francislê Neri de Souza, has a postdoctoral degree in Technologies applied to Science Teaching (2008), holds a PhD in Science Didactics (2006) with an emphasis on Education in Chemistry, Master in Quantum Computational Chemistry (1998), Degree in Chemistry (1995). He is currently a research professor and assistant coordinator of the Professional Master of Education at the Adventist University Center of São Paulo at the Engenheiro Coelho campus (UNASP-EC) and invited adjunct professor at Andrews University, USA. He was director of graduation and associate dean of UNASP-EC. He is a member of the Center for Didactic Research and Technology in the Training of Trainers (CIDTFF) and the Digital Content Laboratory (LCD) at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, where he was a researcher and professor for 17 years. He was also a special visiting professor at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and a substitute professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). He is a member of several scientific societies and laboratories in Brazil and Portugal. He guides master’s and doctoral students in their areas of expertise. He is co-author of some software such as webQDA®️, IARS®️, ArguQuest®️, FlexQuest®️, and U-TRACER®️. He is the founder and chief editor of the Internet Latent Corpus Journal. He is one of the founding and coordinating members of the Ibero-American Congress on Qualitative Research (www.ciaiq.org) and the World Conference on Qualitative Research (www.wcqr.info). He is also a consultant and author of papers, reports, books and book chapters in the field of active learning, questioning, argumentation, critical thinking, research methodology, science education and chemistry education with integration of information and communication technologies.
