Fábio Freitas holds a PhD in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro, with the thesis “Learning and User Manuals of QDAS: The case of webQDA”. He has a degree in Design and a master’s degree in Visual Arts teaching in the 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education from the University of Aveiro. He is currently a guest lecturer at the Polytechnic of Leiria and a member of the coordinating committee of the Ibero-American Congress on Qualitative Research (CIAIQ) and the World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR). He is one of the researchers/trainers of the webQDA software, on which he has developed and published several studies.
